BASEBALL ACADEMY

The Lumber Yard Baseball Academy (LYBA) is a full service academy that was established to provide superior baseball instruction, high school showcase teams and family friendly facilities for the local baseball communities. Established in 2007 as a not-for-profit organization, the LYBA has been successful in meeting the needs of the baseball communities in Central Texas. Staffed with several current and ex-professional players we have been able to provide baseball and softball instruction to players of all ages (t-ball to adult) and all skill levels (recreation to professional).  We at the LYBA have provided a family atmosphere so that every member of a player’s family is welcomed to come enjoy the experience.  We have a large lounge area with TV for the kids, Sports TV for parents and WI-FI for the busy professional.

From hitting to fielding and pitching it is important at every age and level that you play with the proper mechanics and knowledge of the game.  We don’t just instruct players on one aspect of the game we encompass all part of the game so the players have the chance to become a 5 tool player (hitting for average, hitting for power, fielding, throwing and base running).
